I love this shelf, it's super cute! It comes unassembled but it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to assemble and install on the wall. I did have a bit of a problem installing the gold-ish looking pegs because the holes were not big enough but the wood part of the shelf is very nice and sturdy! The pegs themselves are quite heavy for the size as well! I think it'll hold up for a long time. Just make sure you screw into a stud if you're gonna hang a lot on it.The wood on this shelf is a beautiful warm tone that really goes with anything. The assembly of this was easy but the hooks for you to hang your things on did not fit into the holes, so you’d hang something then they’d all fall out. I ended up just putting glue in each hole and cramming the metal hanger into it till the glue dried & that worked just fine.I got this for my foyer so guests can hang their coats and bags (we use the built in cabinets in our mud room so no need for daily use from us). The overall look, feel, sturdiness, and quality are very high and, in my opinion, worth the asking price. It is indeed made of attractive solid wood.The kit comes with no instructions, but it's pretty straightforward. Watch the video in the product photos and you'll see how to hang it once assembled. To assemble it, I suggest you first use a rubber mallet to hammer the hooks into the piece that hangs on the wall (protect the other side when hammering). The hook pegs have an outside and inside end, so get that part right! The inside end has an angled cut to it, and I tried to line the angled end so they would lay flat where it meets the drilled hole inside. After that, use the 5 short screws to attach the top to the side. I found that flipping the top board made a slight difference as to how well the boards end's lined up, so check that before you screw it in (though it's probably fine either way if you aren't a perfectionist).Here's where I screwed up. Really, really, really make sure you get the marks in your wall lined up correctly with the width of the screw holes on the back, not to mention level. I did follow the video method, but wasn't careful with it enough the first time. Suffice to say there are 3 extra holes in my wall hidden behind this rack that we don't need to speak about. Still, the method works, but be gentle or you will scuff your wall (Magic Eraser to the rescue).Once hung, it is very sturdy using the included long screws and anchors. I was able to get 1 screw into a stud without anchors, which adds to the stability. They give you one extra long screw and anchor pair, which is nice. It fits flush to the wall if you leave the right amount of screw sticking out from the wall (basically just before the threads start showing). It feels strong and the hooks can hold plenty of weight if you hammer them in all the way.I really love the shelf and think it looks great in my foyer, while providing my guests with a nice place to store their coats and bags. It's definitely worth the extra money vs. some cheap particleboard alternative.I love how convenient this shelf is.I can keep my keys handy and organized. I love how my wallet and keys are in the same spot.We keep candles and diffusers on top.It’s great for our small place. No need for tables near the door.I do have to say the installation was a little tricky since you need to be very good at measuring. You’ll also need to drill, but that’s normal with shelves.I do think it’s a two-people job.Overall good quality and nice design. I’m happy with it. ??This is really good quality, sturdy, easy to assemble, looks amazing hung up. But I don't believe it's worth the current price of $45, maybe $25-30 at most.It’s very easy to hang up and very sturdy too. I highly recommend. Looks great with my boho style decor.
