I ordered this ‘Floating TV Stand’ to actually use as a sort of ‘mantle’ under the wall mounted screen in our family room. I liked the ‘floating’ look of the stand.I am very impressed with the quality of this ‘Floating TV Stand’. The glossy light wood finish on the pieces is actually quite beautiful. It honestly reminds of a bowling alley lane…it’s that smooth and glossy.Assembling this ‘Floating TV Stand’ was nothing short of a nightmare for my wife and I. It was very time consuming…it took us almost 3 hours to put the stand together. There are way too many small parts to deal with. And to top it all off, the assembly instructions are printed sooooo small that I actually had to take pictures of the pages and blow them up to see the part numbers and what to do. It should not gave been that much of a chore. But everything did fit as it should and it all fit together…a good thing.This ‘Floating TV Stand’ looks very nice once it’s assembled. There isn’t a lot of space in any of the compartments. The center open compartment is long but not tall…the side compartments are about the size of a shoe box. None of the compartments are deep. You could fit a gaming console in any of them…they’re too shallow. About the only thing these compartments will hold is a DVD player or something similar…but who uses those anymore?!?The lighting effects in this ‘Floating TV Stand are very easy to control with the LED Lamp app. The app installed easily with no issues whatsoever and found the TV stand lights instantly…a good thing. But the app, unfortunately, is very limited as far as what the lights can do…not a good thing. You can only make them blink on and off and change color….not a good thing.The instructions as to how to mount this ‘Floating TV Stand’ on the wall are not clear at all. That’s why my stand is still sitting on the back of the loveseat. The company needs to provide a lot clearer..at lot more detailed…and a lot bigger instructions.This ‘Floating TV Stand’ does hold our 65” TV as advertised. The width of the stand is fine, but the depth is too shallow, in my opinion, to securely hold any TV with the ‘claw style’ legs. A solid base type stand will work a lot better on this stand. Just make sure plug all your cables into the TV before you set it on the stand. The ports are next to impossible to access when the TV is sitting up there on it. And I’m a little concerned if the stand will actually stay mounted to the wall…if I figure out how to do it. The included mounting hardware seems too flimsy to hold a big TV securely.In summary, this ‘Floating TV Stand’ is nicely constructed and beautiful to look at. But it’s not serviceable at all….it’s too shallow…the storage compartments are too small…and there are no clear directions as to how to mount it. Look elsewhere.
