I bought two sets and I LOVE them! They are made of real wood-you can smell the lumber when you open the box. The wood is great quality yet it has character as well. Not too shiny and perfect, it's rustic. The brackets are solid, heavy, and matte black. They're the L brackets with a lip over the edge and you can screw attach the wood to the bracket if you want. It is a two person job to get everything level and with two people, it took ten minutes to put up. By myself, it would've been possible but difficult and I would've had to double check my pencil marks several times. But it would be possible. I love the look and the quality of these isn't one of the best I have seen! Especially at this price point. I wish this company made 12" deep boards because I'm planning to rip down a section of my cabinetry and replace with 12" deep shelves just like these. I would recommend and I will be buying more. Thank you!
